On Thursday, January 2, the Farmville Recreation Department partnered with the Longwood University men’s basketball team and coaching staff to offer a free community basketball clinic. The clinic focused on the basic fundamentals of basketball and was highlighted with a motivational speech given by Longwood men's basketball head coach, Jayson Gee. Twenty-five area youth attended this event. Pictured above is the Longwood University men’s basketball team and coaching staff with area youth.
