Schools throughout the Heart of Virginia will be closed again Friday. Buckingham County Public Schools, Cumberland County Public Schools, Prince Edward County Public Schools and Fuqua School will all be closed.

The Prince Edward varsity and junior varsity boys and girls basketball games against Nottoway High School scheduled for Friday evening have been postponed and will likely be played the week after next.

The Buckingham varsity and junior varsity boys and girls basketball games against Bluestone High School scheduled for Friday evening have been postponed with a make-up date to be determined.

All Fuqua after school and weekend school-sponsored activities have been canceled.
