One to three inches of snow possible

A winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service cautions that people in the Farmville, Prince Edward County and Cumberland areas may experience wet snow with a potential accumulation of one to three inches.
The advisory will be in effect from 4 p.m. today to 4 p.m. Saturday.
“Plan on slippery road conditions,” the winter weather advisory cited. “Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.”
