The Prince Edward Scholastic Bowl team has gotten off to a great start this year by winning its first six matches. Two matches have been won by five points in the closing seconds of the match. The first match of the season was a 175 to 170 win over Amelia and the second was a 185 to 180 win over Goochland, Oct. 30. The team has also been dominant in matches scoring more than 300 points twice this season. This year’s team consists of four returning members: seniors and co-captains Kait Hosmer and Laura Bisaillion, junior Rachael Kinzer, and sophomore Tiba Hamza and two newcomers: freshmen Antonio Harvey and Zakhyran Little. The team has great chemistry and depth.
