Dukes win district cross country title

Cumberland County High School’s varsity boys cross country team won the James River District Championship Wednesday at Occoneechee State Park. The Dukes produced a team score of 42, placing first out of eight teams competing. Goochland High School came in second with a 61. Cumberland’s Allen Waechter was named district Boys Coach of the Year.
