Jeff Vance, a welding instructor at Southside Virginia Community College, recently spoke to Buckingham’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) students about career opportunities in manufacturing and welding, including what is required for certification and the demand for welders. The high school’s CTE center provides classes in Welding I, II and III as part of its course offerings.
