FARMVILLE — The Farmville Area Habitat for Humanity is hosting a Pig Roast fundraiser Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at the Gee-Price Activity Center at Fuqua School in Farmville.
“This night of fun, food and fellowship will feature homemade food from Pork-n-More Catering, craft beer provided by Third Street Brewing Co., and live music from Tray and Jo Ann Eppes,” officials said in a press release. “Proceeds will help Habitat serve those in need of safe, decent, affordable housing in our community.”
According to the release, tickets will be $50 each and can be purchased at the door, at the Habitat ReStore at 1409 S. Main St. or online at www.FarmvilleHabitat.org.
The release cited the funds raised will help five new partner families as Habitat helps them build in 2018.
