Coaches’ game notes: The Dukes are facing a Cougars team that has a deceiving record, with its three losses coming against teams that are a combined 12-1.
On film, the Cougars have shown good speed on offense, and they are skilled at running the ball, led by junior Devonte Booth. He has good size and quickness, and the Dukes must limit him to be successful. The Cougars are also quick on defense and aggressive too. They use multiple fronts, presenting two to five down linemen at any given time.
Dukes senior Davidrick Brooks is back after being out for a couple weeks with a hip injury.
GOOCHLAND (4-0) AT BUCKINGHAM (1-4)

Coach’s game notes: The undefeated Bulldogs are entering this game off a bye week, giving them extra time to get healthy and to prepare for the Knights.
The Bulldogs are always a disciplined team that plays hard. On offense, they favor the run a bit. Standout running backs include senior John King, senior Cole Nuckols and junior Perry Snead-Johnson.
Goochland is good up front on defense, featuring senior Ricky Mayfield, senior Keiston Carter and sophomore Jamal Carter. King also stars defensively as a linebacker.

Coach’s game notes: The Royal Tigers forfeited due to injuries and suspensions. They are not eligible to play this week per their school rules.
