We offer our sincere thanks, appreciation and commendation to the many volunteers, rescue squad members, police, fire fighters, dispatchers, friends and family members who helped in the search efforts to find little Levi Hertzler who went missing Tuesday morning off of Deer Run Road in southern Buckingham and was found safe early afternoon. When a family or an individual is dealing with hard times or tragedy, one can visually see the true definition of community. This definition materialized in short order in Buckingham County on Tuesday — just as it does when someone is ill or in need — through uniting for the common purpose of helping others.
