Deaconess Fancelle Brown Liggins 59 of Cumberland, VA departed this life on Thursday, August 24, 2017 in Cumberland. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Deacon Kevin Liggins; 2 sons, Fancy Leon Brown and Jaamal Liggins; a daughter, Shervonda Liggins (Marcus); a step-daughter, Keisha Scott; Gale Wade and Adrian Jones (considered as her children), a grandson, De’Shaun Liggins; two step-grandsons, Tyshon and Dea’Jaun Scott; Jomari Wade (considered as a grandson); mother, Lou Bertha Carter (Robert Lee); a sister, Annie Irene Gilliam; two uncles, Russell Brown (Comoria) and Carl Brown (Doris); an aunt, Alma Brown; mother-in-law, Deloris LIggins; two sisters-in-law, Carol Allen (Charlie) and Arlene Robinson (Joe); three brothers-in-law, Larry Liggins, William Liggins (Rev. Dyane) and Anthony Liggins (Charlene), along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, one devoted cousin “Baby Jean” Steele, friends, and special friends Marian Brown, Marylene Brown, Wanda Childress, JoAnn Shearn and Minister Eurika Tyree.

Her remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland where public viewing will be held Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11:00 A.M. at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Cumberland.  Rev. Larry E.
