Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Smith visited their son and his family — Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith and their children, Brianna, Charles Jr. and Christina — last Friday evening. Christina was celebrating her 17th birthday.

On Monday evening the small group from Faith Bible Fellowship met for their monthly covered dish at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Smith. Attending were Mrs. Hilde Watson, Mr. and Mrs. Richard McClintock and Mr. and Mrs. John Utzinger.

On Aug. 15, Mrs. Flora Bolt met Lois and John Gager, Betty and Don Meadows, Eliz and T.M. Manis and Irene Layne at Merk’s Place for lunch. Later in the afternoon Flora visited her cousins Cecil and Peggy East.

On Sunday following church services, Mrs. Judy Bolt, Mrs. Flora Bolt and Mrs. Jennifer Jones enjoyed lunch at Applebee’s.

Friends and neighbors are praying for a speedy recovery for Don Meadows, Frances P. Motley and Betty Jean Bolt.
