In a recent “Your Views” guest column printed in your paper, the author of the column, Lucy Klaus, did not know the meaning of Watergate 2.0.

Watergate 1.0 would have been the original version of the Watergate scandal involving President Richard Nixon’s impeachable offenses.

Watergate 2.0 is a reference to the current scandal involving President Donald Trump and his family and cronies who colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election in Trump’s favor — also an impeachable offense.
