Garnett Wilson Adams Jr.

Garnett Wilson Adams Jr. of Buckingham passed July 20, 2017 in his home surrounded by family. He was born August 10, 1959 in Charlottesville, the youngest of three children of the late Garnett Wilson Adams Sr. and Lucille Crews Adams.

He loved creating with his bare hands and was known for his extensive talents in construction. If you were lucky enough to live in a home built by GW, just know it was built with hard work and pride driven by Love. He loved the beach, playing golf, floating the river, and just simply surrounding himself with family. Anyone who knew GW, knows he was a charismatic, honest, give you the shirt off his back walking heart of gold. Those who witnessed his fight with cancer will vouch for his faith, bravery and determination.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cheryl Wilhelm Adams; two sons, Garnett Wilson Adams III and his wife Brianna Adams, Zane Frederick Adams and his wife Aubrianne Adams; two sisters, Doris Toney and her husband John Toney, Diane Moss and her partner Harold Haislip; three grandchildren, Ezekiel Jace Adams, Lainey Faith Adams and Kylie Harper Adams. You will be greatly missed for your Kind heart and will never be forgotten.

Services will be Saturday, July 29 2017 at 4 p.m. at Mulberry Grove Baptist Church, 1095 Mulberry Grove Road, Buckingham, Virginia 23921.
