Film series kicks off 20th year

Families and friends across the Heart of Virginia gathered Friday during the “Stars Under the Stars” first showing of its 20th season Friday in downtown Farmville at Crute Stage. “Beauty and the Beast” drew children and adults alike to sit outdoors and watch the movie. The event included refreshments and an appearance by Belle.
