Tanner Wise, of Poplar View Farm LLC and a rising eighth grader at Buckingham County Middle School, competed at the Piedmont Area Jr. Livestock Show on Saturday, April 29, at the Blackstone Livestock Market showing two market Lambs, two ewe Lambs and two market goats. Tanner, left, won first place and Grand Champion with his market lamb pair, second and third place market lambs, 125-150 lbs. class as individuals; second and third place ewe lambs, 130-150 lbs. class; second and fourth place market goats, third place in intermediate lamb showmanship and third place in intermediate goat showmanship. Wise serves as president of the Buckingham 4-H Livestock Club where he has been showing livestock for five years.
