The Prince Edward County Middle School baseball team ended the 2017 season in second place in its district with an 8-2 record. The team was included in the top two teams that qualified to compete in the Southside Middle School Conference Tournament. In that tournament, the Eagles lost 3-2 to Park View Middle School.
