Longwood University’s women’s lacrosse freshman attacker/midfielder Molly Barkman has been named the Big South Offensive Player of the Week, as announced Tuesday by the conference office.

A two-time Freshman of the Week honoree, Barkman garnered her third Big South Player of the Week honor after a stellar two-game road trip that featured games at Presbyterian College and Gardner-Webb University across which she scored seven goals, dished out six assists, won 20 draw controls, corralled four ground balls and caused three turnovers.

Barkman is also the only player in the Big South to receive both Freshman of the Week and Offensive Player of the Week honors this season.
