The Farmville Lion’s Club wishes to express sincere appreciation to the people of Farmville and the surrounding area for their generous support of recent White Cane Days.

The warm, sunny weather was matched by the generosity of many citizens contributing more than $4,000 to support our services to those in this community. These contributions will assist the club in providing eye examinations and glasses for the needy and funding sight and hearing research.

As our Lion’s Club strives to serve those who need information on protecting or improving their vision and hearing, we wish to thank The Farmville Herald, Walmart and WFLO Radio Station for their support. 

It is a blessing to be part of a caring community that is supportive of the needs of others.
