Longwood Head Women’s Soccer Coach Todd Dyer and Associate Head Coach Rich Stoneman announced the signing of 13 high school seniors on National Signing Day, adding a record freshman class to a program coming off a trip to the Big South Championship semifinals in 2016.

“In our 23 years as a program, this is the largest recruiting class we’ve ever had,” said Dyer, a Longwood soccer alumnus who has led the Longwood women to a 29-15-6 record in five years of Big South competition. “If the quality matches the quantity of this group, our future looks very bright.”

The recruiting class includes midfielder Camryn “CC” Conklin, of Centreville High School in Centreville; forward Kennedy Culbreath, of Massaponax High School in Fredericksburg; midfielder Madison Hommey, of Walkersville High School in Woodsboro, Md.; forward Madison Hoopes, of Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, N.C.; midfielder Madison Lockamy, of Forest Park High School in Montclair; forward Emily Mothersbaugh, of Loudoun County High School in Leesburg; midfielder Tatum Newton, of Osbourn Park High School in Manassas; defender Hannah Panagos, of Liberty High School in Culpeper; midfielder Carrie Reaver, of Catoctin High School in Thurmont, Md.; defender Caitrin Rennoldson, of Pittsford Mendon High School in Pittsford, N.Y.; midfielder Kai Sizemore, of First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach; goalkeeper Madison Van Dyke, of York High School in Yorktown; and defender Jillian Wright, of Brentsville District High School in Nokesville.
