Prince Edward County High School’s varsity girls and boys basketball teams began play in their respective Quad Rivers Conference 34 tournaments on Thursday. With road victories in that quarterfinal game, the No. 5 Lady Eagles and  No. 7 Eagles would play Saturday in the semifinals. Victories there would advance them to Monday’s finals. All games will be played on the home court of the higher seed.
