After 56 years of working as the clerk of Cumberland County Combined District Court, public servant Carolyn Helgeson has retired, hanging up her cap of public service. Helgeson worked for numerous district court judges, helped train numerous young clerks across the region and served the people of Cumberland County with respect, integrity and honor. We commend her for her over half century of service to the Cumberland community. Last week, Cumberland supervisors honored her with a resolution noting her work and service to the community. We thank her for the many, many years of helping the public navigate the court system and for dedicating a large part of her life to this community. Pictured presenting the resolution to Helgeson is District Three Supervisor and Board Chairman Kevin Ingle. (Send “Way to Go” photos with names and a description to waytogo@FarmvilleHerald.com.)
