'Buck' Cook, 90 Retired Fanner Dies Saturday

PROSPECT, Dec. 16 – Francis A. “Buck” Cook, 90, of Prospect, died Saturday, December 13, 2003.
Mr. Cook was a service station operator in Farmvllle for nearly 40 years, a retired fanner and a former member of the Farmvllle Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by a son, Donald A. Cook of Prospect; a daughter, Nancy C. Home and her husband, Tom of Richmond; two sisters, Ethel Adams of Appomattox and Margie Strosnider of Farmvllle; grandchildren, Whitney Veazey, Jennifer E. Home and Christopher T. Home and two great-grandchildren, Riley A. Veazey and Reid Veazey all of Richmond.
A graveside service was held 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) in Westvlew Cemetery, Farmvllle.
Doyne-Burger-Davis Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
