The expectation of inclement weather has prompted some postponements in athletics events scheduled for Friday and Saturday evening.

Buckingham County High School’s basketball games against Randolph-Henry High School scheduled for Friday have been postponed until Thursday, Jan. 12. The Buckingham games originally scheduled on Jan. 12 against Appomattox County High School have been canceled.

Cumberland High School’s basketball games against Nottoway High School scheduled for Friday have been postponed.

Fuqua School’s basketball games against Carlisle School and Holy Cross Regional Catholic School scheduled for Friday evening have been postponed.

The Prince Edward County High School varsity and junior varsity boys basketball games against Altavista High School on Saturday have been postponed and tentatively moved to Monday, Jan. 30.
