PFSWCD names poster winners

The Peter Francisco Soil & Water Conservation District recently announced the winners of its recent poster contest. Winners included students from kindergarteners to ninth-graders from Cumberland and Buckingham public schools, as well as the Central Virginia Christian School.
Winning first place in the second-third grade category is Buckingham Elementary School student Noah Washington.
Winners from Central Virginia Christian School were, from left, Wyatt Haney, third place, kindergarten-first grade; Skylar Davis, third place, seventh-ninth grade; and Karla Rivera, third place, second-third grade.
Buckingham Primary School student Collin Snoddy won second place in the kingergarten-first grade category.
Katie Page, from Cumberland Elementary School, won second place in the second-third grade category.
