Fairy ‘Faye’ Branham Mullins

How can we encapsulate the spirit, charity and beauty of Faye Mullins into just mere words? She left us on December 2, 2016.

Those who mourn her loss are her children, Fred (Jennifer) Mullins, Jan (Toby) Anderson, Julie (Rand) Walton and Jody (Lisa) Mullins. She cherished her grandchildren, Andrew, Evan, Sara, Abby, Ben, Elizabeth, Sydney, Mattie, Annie, Lindsay, Lauren, Lily and Jake. She was adored by her great-grandchildren, Sam, Emily, Will, Gavin, Harper, Eloise Faye, William and Van. Also left to mourn her loss is her sister, Beatrice Gore. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Mullins. No doubt they have had a wonderful reunion.

Faye was a disciple of Jesus Christ in every sense of the word. She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her joy came from her God and her family.

She was born December 21, 1934, in Ridgeway, SC, and was proud of her Palmetto State heritage. She lived the majority of her adult life between Farmville and Richmond.

Visitation was held 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 6 at Bliley’s, 8510 Staples Mill Road.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, December 7 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2500 Pump Road, Richmond, VA. Viewing was from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., with funeral at 1 p.m. Interment was at Westhampton Memorial Park.

Bliley’s – Staples Mill Chapel, Richmond, served the family.
