The Buckingham JROTC Raider Team has earned a slot for the Best of the Best Raider Competition. The team, led by Trenton Houser and Morgan Pugh, earned the spot by placing third in rope bridge, second in fireman’s carry and third overall out of 54 teams. The Bravo Team, led by Rachel Pugh, placed second in the physical fitness test. Alyssa True was named top female for Raider North. The Best of the Best Raider Challenge event will be held at the University of North Carolina next April. Only the top 20 qualified Raider teams will be eligible and come from Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
