The Eggleston Karate Studio conducted two days of advanced level tests in Shorin-Ryu karate at its locations in Farmville and North Chesterfield in October. Instructor Mike Eggleston, on right in back row, stands with three Farmville students who earned new belts. Ian Lower, on left in back row, was awarded a fourth-degree black belt/fourth dan, while Nathanael and Annamarie Vaught, in front row, were awarded first advanced green belts/third kyu.
