Photographer Ron Card took this “straight-on, un-retouched” picture of the recent “Supermoon.” A Supermoon occurs when the moon is closest to the Earth and looks its biggest and brightest. This Supermoon was the closest the moon has come since January 1948. Card said it won’t be this close again until November 2034.
