Astronomy Club at Bear Creek Lake

The Crewe Astronomy Club will return to Bear Creek Lake State Park in Cumberland on Saturday to present its popular astronomy program.
The club will have an indoor presentation on how to get started in astronomy and to answer any questions about the sky and telescopes. Outside the Hall, participants will have a chance to observe the planet Jupiter and its moons, the center of the Milky Way, the Great Double Cluster in the constellation Perseus, the Orion Nebula under Orion’s belt and other celestial highlights this time of year provides. This is a free program. Daily parking rates apply. The event will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The park is located at 22 Bear Creek Lake Road, Cumberland.
