VFS donates to Christmas Mother

- Virginia Family Services (VFS) made a $1,000 donation to the Heart of Virginia Christmas Mother (HOVCM) program on Oct. 24. The Heart of Virginia Christmas Mother Program gratefully accepted a $1,000 donation from Virginia Family Services on Oct. 24. Virginia Family Services (VFS) provides behavioral health services to individuals and families within the community. VFS assists youths beginning at age 5 up to adulthood. The Heart of Virginia Christmas Mother Program thanks VFS for its huge contribution to the Christmas Mother Cause.
The Heart of Virginia Christmas Mother strives to ensure all families and children in our community have a wonderful, happy and loving Christmas by providing a Christmas “shopping” experience to families in need of assistance. The HOVCM program accepts monetary or in-kind donations of brand new toys, coloring books, games, books, hats, gloves and scarves and other Christmas gifts.
