FARMVILLE — The Friends of the Farmville/Prince Edward Library are hosting its Champagne & Chocolate Gala from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Farmville library. There will be music, finger food, non-alcoholic beverages, champagne and chocolates to enjoy. Suggested attire is dressy casual to cocktail. Proceeds from this event will be used to benefit children’s programming for the Central Virginia Regional Library system. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the library or by calling Bettie Bass at (434) 315-1959.
