Pet Portraits is a drawing and painting workshop where participants will work from photographs of their own pets to create drawings and a large scale acrylic painting. Students will exercise contour and shading techniques and then move onto to color mixing and painterly techniques to create a large scale portrait of their pet. Students are asked to bring a photograph of their pet or favorite animal.

Presenter Kendra Wadsworth is an artist and educator. Wadsworth, a scenic painter for motion picture, theatrical, television, and commercial projects, has an undergraduate degree in painting and printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has an MFA in painting from The University of Pennsylvania.
