A disabled tractor-trailer closed three lanes of West Third Street just west of downtown Farmville on Friday afternoon.

The roadway has since been reopened.

The vehicle was broken down at Farmville Wholesale Electric Co.

Traffic was being diverted onto North, High and St. George streets, according to police.
