Annie May Parker, 81, of Columbia, entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 15, 2016.  She is now walking hand in hand with her beloved husband, Jack.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Michael Parker (Lisa), Danny Lightfoot (Kim), Luci Meinhard (Troy) and Dennis Parker (Christal); two sisters, Betty Smelcer and Joyce Martin; seven grandchildren and her precious dog, Rose. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hester “Jack” Parker, five sisters and two brothers.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20 at 11 a.m. at the Cartersville Community Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Cartersville Volunteer Fire Department or the Cartersville Volunteer Rescue Squad.
