Clinton Eldridge Maddox, 88, of Pamplin, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016. He was the husband of Edna May Trexler Maddox. Born in Lynchburg on June 28, 1928, he was a son of the late Norvell Nathaniel Maddox and Myrtle Anne William Maddox and was also preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Maddox and a sister, Joyce M. Hutchinson. He was a member of College Presbyterian Church, Hampden-Sydney and was retired from sales.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Robert Wayne Maddox (Madolyn), and Clinton E Maddox (GG); two brothers, Alvin Maddox (Maxine), and Gene Maddox (Joyce); a sister, Linda Maddox; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 15 in College Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Keith Leach and the Rev. William Thompson.
