Lloyd E. “Bud” Meredith, 77, of Cumberland, departed this life peacefully on Monday, October 10, 2016 in Richmond after battling lung cancer at Hospice of Virginia, surrounded by family.

He is survived by long term companion, Carolyn McHenry; beloved father of William Bryan, Larry Meredith, Brenda Breckenridge, Betty Wiesinger, and Traci Meredith; grandfather and great-grandfather to many; dear brother of Robert Meredith (JoAnn), Anita Gunther (Roy), Patricia Dolton (Wayne).

No services will be held. Family asks that any donations be made to Hospice of Virginia 1-804-200-1810 in Lloyd’s name.
