Pearl Jones Roop, 78 Retired Civil Service Worker, Dies May 21

CHESTERFIELD, May 25 – Pearl Jones Roop, 78, of Chesterfield and formerly of Burkeville, died Friday, May 21, 2010 in Chesterfield. She was the wife of the late John Roop and was retired from Civil Service, US Government.
She is survived by sons, Dennis Edward “Eddie” Mull (Charlotte) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Michael Wayne Mull (Tina) of Richmond; sisters, Ruby Irene Chambers of Richmond and Mabel Louise Hall of Utah; grandchildren, Edward Mull, Alyson Herbert and Thomas Mull, and great-grandson, Jonathan Little. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Mull, brother, Thomas Earl Jones and sister, Margie Ruth Wilke.
A memorial service was held Monday, May 24, in the funeral home chapel. Private interment was in Trinity Memorial Gardens.
