My first and last advice to Longwood University students about the Vice Presidential Debate — don’t miss it!

There is an excitement about this place the fences have not been able to hide. Do you realize the national spotlight has already been placed on the university and the community?

​Next Tuesday, we will be welcoming every major television network and news agency to participate and report on the debate. Sunday-Tuesday (Oct. 2-4) MKTO, Second City, Church Sisters, Javiar Colon (The Voice) and more will all be on Stubbs Mall as we celebrate this special occasion. 

Approximately 50 million people in the U.S. alone will view the debate on TV. Where will you be? This is something you will not want to miss.
