Fuqua School will dedicate its new football bleachers at half time during the school’s football game against Hampton Roads Academy on Friday. The bleachers are a gift in memory of Ralph and Roselyn Hines for their support of and generosity to the athletic program at Prince Edward Academy and Fuqua School by their children, Joe, Bob and Perri Ann. They are 1986, 1981 and 1979 Fuqua School graduates, respectively. The late former Headmaster Robert T. Redd wrote, “Ralph and Roselyn, as loving parents put their hearts into the school through their own participation and generous financial support. Their interest, dedication, and support went far beyond.” Kick-off for Friday night’s game is 7 p.m.
