The Farmville region has a new tourism website.

Launched last week, www.visitfarmville.com, showcases all the community has to offer visitors and draw them to the area to eat, shop, play and stay.

The town will sponsor a Chamber After Hours Event to celebrate the new website on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at The Woodland Community Center, 103 Varner Drive, Farmville. It is free and open to the public.
