‘Flying Fish’ fest set

The Friends of the Farmville Airport will host a “Flying Fish” seafood festival from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 in Fuqua School’s Ruritan Pavilion. The festival will benefit the Farmville chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association and its outreach aviation program at Fuqua School.
In addition to barbecue, the menu will include fried and steamed shrimp, fried oysters and catfish, slaw, butter potatoes, baked beans, hushpuppies, drinks and adult beverages.
Music will be performed by Southland.
