Members of the Farmville community, along with friends, supporters and leaders of the Moton National Historic Landmark and Museum, located at the intersection of Griffin Boulevard and South Main Street, celebrated the success, accomplishments and impact of Justin Reid, front, center, the former director of education and public programs. Speakers commended Reid for his leadership, support, vision and service to the community and the former high school. Reid recently began his new role as director of African American Programs at the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities (VFH) in Charlottesville.
