Award-winning daylily hybridizer Jan Joiner, from Joiner Gardens of Georgia, will speak at the next meeting of the Southern Virginia Daylily Club on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Butler Memorial Library in Chase City. Although her daylily creations come in many forms, she dominates the doubles category with beautiful, hardy and unusual blooms that grow well in Virginia.
