The J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library’s Victory Garden is growing by leaps and bounds. Victory Gardens were backyard gardens planted in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States during World War I and World War II to reduce pressures on public food supplies brought on by the war efforts. The library accepts extra produce to be shared with patrons. Pictured, Lucas Camp brings in produce to share in the Library’s Victory Garden.
