Twin Lakes State Park will hold several events on Saturday.

The park will begin with a “Turtle Trek” from 11 a.m.-noon around Goodwin Lake.

Participants will learn about turtle biology and behavior.

Fishing 101 will take place from 1-2 p.m. Fishers will learn about knots and tackle, and get a chance to throw lines in the water. Bait will be provided, and some rods are available for use.

The program is for all ages. A freshwater fishing license is required for participants age 16 and up. Licenses can be purchased at the park office.

The park will hold a “Lake Explorers” program from 2-3 p.m.
