BUCKINGHAM — Following a traffic check on Route 20, a 26-year-old Buckingham County man has been charged with five counts of selling or providing for resale schedule I or II drugs.

Rapheal Ayres was arrested July 1, according to Capt. Roger Jamerson of the Buckingham County Sheriff’s Office.

“We had outstanding capiases on him from the circuit court … for distribution of controlled substances,” Jamerson said.

During the arrest, Ayres allegedly was in possession of suspected cocaine, Jamerson said.
