The postseason accolades continue for Tiger golfers Jamie Agnew (Fairfax/Flint Hill School) and Alex Simmons (Charlottesville/Albemarle) who have been named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) all-state team. Agnew, the 2016 ODAC Rookie of the Year, received the same award from the VaSID while also being named to the all-state second team. Simmons earned first team honors to add to his first team All-ODAC nod.

Agnew had a strong debut season for the Tigers, and in eight starts this season, he had one top-10 showing and a 75.8 per round average, which ranks 10th in the league.

Simmons, a two-time All-ODAC performer, led the team this year in rounds (21), events played (9), and average score (74.76), which ranks fifth in the ODAC. He posted two top-five finishes and two top-10 finishes with a low round of 70.
