The Friends of the Appomattox River (FAR) will host a presentation by Evan Spears on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library. 

This program will showcase the diversity of life along Wilck’s Lake, Buffalo Creek and the Appomattox River as they flow through Farmville. 

Spears is currently the park naturalist at Holliday Lake State Park in Appomattox County.
