‘Our Town’ to open in Scottsville

The Scottsville Center of Arts and Nature (SCAN) will present the Victory Hall Players and its production of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town.” Kristen Freshwater will direct this inaugural production. “Our Town” is an American classic set against the backdrop of a quintessential, fictional small town, Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire. It explores the depth and brevity of life, love and loss. Performances will be held at Victory Hall Theater, 401 Valley St., Scottsville, on April 22-23 at 8 p.m. and April 28-30 at 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from Baine’s Books & Coffee in Scottsville or online at www.scanartcenter.org for $15 adults; $10 students & seniors (65 and older); children 7 and younger — free.
