CVCS track members place at Lynchburg meet

Twenty-three members of the Central Virginia Christian School track team competed in the Lynchburg Middle School Invitational over the weekend, with several members bringing home awards.
The competition consisted of 10 middle school teams.
Laurel Logan placed first in the 110-meter hurdles and Hannah Davis placed third in the 800-meter event.
Nathan Brickhill placed third in the 800-meter and long jump events.
Kelsey Hackett placed eighth in the 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash.
Dreygan Phillips placed fourth in the long jump.
The girls 4X400 relay team of Hackett, Logan, Raeleigh Brock and Davis placed fifth.
The boys 4X400 team of Brickhill, Phillips, Robert Raymond and Skkyler Travis also placed fifth.
The CVCS track team will return to action on Wednesday, April 27, when it travels to Appomattox for a 4:30 p.m. meet.
They will then travel to Appomattox on May 6 for their final regular-season meet. The meet will begin at 4:30 p.m.
